Day six was a day back at Disneyland!! We started the day a little later, we were slowing down and not wanting to make everyone miserable! Also, that morning Kaydin got to build his own RC car at Ridemakerz in Downtown Disney! We were there before they opened because it was a special deal with the Disneyland hotel! I will add a picture of Kaydin's "ride" later! I will tell you it was orange and black....which happen to be his favorite colors!
After we finished, we met up with Shannon and Kelson to go into Disneyland. We hopped on the monorail and were there in no time. Kaydin really wanted to go on the Matterhorn bobsleds, so we waited in line for 45 minutes while Kelson and Shannon did something else.
Once we were finished, we had a problem!! Our cell phones we having issues texting and calling! This put us out of contact for like an hour and a half. We didn't set a meeting place or time so both of us were just trying to find each other...not fun and a big time waster!
We ate some lunch and Shannon scored fast passes for Space Mountain. Kelson
was excited to go on Space Mountain...I was worried he's be scared but he wasn't!! He talks about that ride all the time!
There seemed to be more and more people each day, which meant we didn't get to everything we wanted to in Disneyland. For us, the vacation was meant to be fun and stress free, so it didn't matter if we didn't do everything we wanted. We can always go back another time.
The boys were ready for a swim break so back to the hotel we went!
We got back to Disneyland for the fireworks! What a beautiful show!!!
This was one of my favorite parts!!
Our view wasn't the greatest because trees were covering half of the castle, but we could still see how nicely it was all chorographed. AMAZING!! It even snowed at the end!!
After wading through hundreds of people, we got back into Downtown Disney. Kelson was exhausted and so we split up. Kaydin and I grabbed some desert. We also stopped in Build-A-Bear and made me an exclusive Downtown Disney bear (a souvenir for me)!!
We were sad it was our last night staying at the Disneyland hotel and we only had one day left to play and explore! At the same time, we were ready to be home in our own beds!!
