Easter

Spring is here, spring is here!  What a beautiful day it was for Easter!  It was wonderful.  The boys had such a great time coloring eggs....I was telling Kelson that we were going to color eggs after he woke from nap and in his innocent toddler voice he says to me all excited "With my crayons?"  I love those moments and they always bring a smile to my face.

Kaydin got up at 6:30 this morning to see if the Easter Bunny made a stop at our house.  That was a lot earlier than he got up Christmas morning...I am exhausted!  Probably doesn't help I was up until 12:30 a.m.

After playing and eating breakfast we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Affolter's house for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.  The boys LOVE it and have such a great time.  The weather was amazing and Kaydin let me take a couple pictures of him....who says boys don't look good surrounded by daffodils?!?!  He is such a good sport with me taking his picture ALL THE TIME!!  :)  I have to learn photography somehow!

We tried a new egg dying technique this year...tie dying!  It was messy but fun!

All the cousins are ready for the big hunt!!

Finding eggs is some serious business and also something that has be done quickly!

Good thing Uncle Tim was around.....

Kaydin found one of the "special" eggs...the silver one which contained a $1.00.... OH YEAH!!

Finding out what is inside the eggs is a lot of fun!

Kaydin and his cousin Blake were having a good time.....  They also happened to be good photography subjects for me!

Springtime is so nice!
