Time to Party!!

Kelson turned 3 on December 28th!  I decided to throw him a small themed birthday party at our house.  I decided on a dinosaur theme...probably more for me than him (although he did enjoy it).  I selected dinosaurs because there were so many fun things I was able to do for his party.  I made a banner, cupcake toppers, the invitations, paper mache dinosaur eggs, a paper mache volcano and a wonderful friend painted a dinosaur for "pin the horn on the dinosaur"!  It was a great time and Kelson (along with myself) were exhausted at the end!

The party has started, Kelson wasn't too far off on his horn placement!

Next was the dino dig, Kelson was excited to find his first dino!

Next was volcano time!!  The kids were mesmerized by this!  Shannon thought it was super cool too.  he is such a kid at heart!

Presents were next and Kelson is getting tired.  All this action is tiring for a 3 year old!

It is a stegosaurus (and I admit, I had to research that one!!)

What a great day and Kelson drifted off to sleepy land not too long after the party was over.  That evening the two boys went to a car show with dad and saw a Lighting McQueen and Tow Mater...super cool!!
