Road Trip Day 1

Our long awaited vacation finally arrived and we had quite the start on our trip! We picked up our rental car at 10:00 on Saturday morning and while filling out the paperwork, Shannon noticed his license expired in October. Good thing the DMV in Corvallis was open, because I really didn't want to do all the driving. So, once he got to the DMV he was reminded of the new requirements of needing your birth certificate and social security card. Well, the social security card was sitting at home and Shannon doesn't have his birth certificate. Thank goodness the DMV gave him something that is valid for another 60 days. We drove to Sacramento and here are a few pictures of the events of that day!
