I can hardly believe January is over and we are into the second month of 2012. For us that means, tax time and applying for Shannon's financial aid for next school year. I am pretty proud to say that both of those items are off of our to-do list!! Yay!! Over the last few weeks we have just hung around the house. On a Saturday evening one night Mr Kelson fell and hit his chin on the tile that is around our pellet stove insert. This meant five stitches for the poor guy (picture below). He did pretty good with the whole thing and hopefully the scar won't be too bad when he gets older.
My birthday was February 4th, the beautiful roses are from Shannon. I spent the day being lazy because I have some sinus/cold crud. Not the best way to spend my birthday, but I didn't have any plans so I guess it wasn't a huge deal!!
Shannon is enjoying school and getting great grades!! He is excited to be embarking on this new adventure and I am very excited about it as well!
Here are some photos of our time just hanging out at home. I have gotten way more pictures of Kelson lately than Kaydin. As the weather starts improving and we spend more time outside, I know I will get more of Kaydin because outside is where he spends most of his time!!
